1. Using PayFork
By using PayFork, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and use every connected payment service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account and devices secure.
2. Profiles and public content
You may create a profile for yourself or for a person or organization you are authorized to represent. You must provide accurate information, use only payment destinations you control or are authorized to publish, and keep them current. PayFork Plus business verification confirms control of the public phone returned for a selected Google Places listing; it does not establish legal ownership or endorsement by Google.
You retain ownership of content you provide. You give PayFork a limited permission to host, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to operate and promote your profile and the service. Public content and payment handles can be seen, copied, or shared by others.
3. Payment-app handoffs
PayFork sends visitors to third-party services such as PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle. PayFork does not hold, process, transfer, settle, guarantee, or confirm money sent through those services. Before sending money, visitors should verify the recipient shown by the payment provider. Profile owners and visitors are responsible for disputes, refunds, errors, fees, taxes, and compliance arising from those transfers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, availability, fees, eligibility rules, and privacy practices. PayFork is not affiliated with or endorsed by the listed payment providers.
4. PayFork Plus billing
PayFork Plus is an optional paid subscription. The price and billing interval shown at checkout apply to the purchase. Stripe processes subscription payments and provides the secure billing portal. You can manage payment details, invoices, or cancellation through that portal from Manage subscription.
A cancellation takes effect according to the subscription status and period shown by Stripe; PayFork does not claim a cancellation is complete until Stripe confirms it. Send refund questions to hello@payfork.app. No automatic refund is promised; requests are handled according to applicable law and the checkout terms shown at purchase.
5. Acceptable use and safety
Do not use PayFork for impersonation, fraud, deceptive payment requests, unlawful activity, harassment, malware, scraping that harms the service, security testing without authorization, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not bypass access controls, rate limits, or safety mechanisms. Anyone may report a public profile using its safety-report control.
6. Service availability and enforcement
PayFork may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features and may pause or remove profiles that create security, legal, fraud, or safety risk or violate these terms. We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every third-party link or provider will remain available.
7. Intellectual property
PayFork’s software, design, branding, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of PayFork or third-party trademarks. “PayPal,” “Cash App,” “Venmo,” and “Zelle” belong to their respective owners.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, PayFork is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that are not expressly stated here. PayFork is not responsible for third-party payment services, the accuracy of user-published content, or transactions between profile owners and visitors. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Ending use, changes, and contact
You can pause a profile and cancel PayFork Plus through the available controls. For account deletion or other support, email hello@payfork.app. We may update these terms; the effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use, subject to any notice or consent required by law.
